Instagram is a wonderful thing for us creatives. It’s amazing how much you can learn about someone from a simple photo and short caption. My husband always finds it entertaining when I talk of my “Instagram friends” and how they become real life friends. I couldn’t love it more.

I recently happened upon Rachel Tenny’s illustrations from A Little Bit of Me and immediately fell in love, especially when I found one with a reference to Parks & Recreation, my all time favorite television show. Once I saw her love of dogs, wine and that she lived only an hour from my new home, I immediately knew I needed to reach out to her!

About a week later we collaborated on an amazing styled shoot (that I can’t wait to share!). Then, about a week more and she’s in my home, eating pineapple with me straight from the tupperware, frolicking around my street to find great light and the most darling of mailboxes. Why, you ask? Because I had the privilege of shooting her new #SpreadJoyAndHappyMail cards designed to brighten anyone’s day! They are absolutely perfect, and today is officially launch day for her first 6 designs! You can find them all here.
