I’m so fortunate to have the most fun and kindest couples I can imagine. More often than not, I end up befriending my couples over the course of the wedding process and in the end, we’re meeting for dinner and drinks, liking each other’s dog photos on Instagram, and staying in touch beyond the wedding day. Kathryn & Kevin are absolutely one of the those couples. In fact, I’m already campaigning for them to move to Augusta, GA. Kathryn grew up in Augusta, but these two precious people live in DC and joined me for their engagement session during a visit to Kathryn’s parents for Memorial Day weekend. We kicked off their session in the best way possible: checking out the newest craft beer & foodie spot in downtown Augusta – Hive Growler Bar. Their “sister restaurant,” The Bee’s Knees, is one of my favorites and Hive certainly did not disappoint! For a couple who loves craft beer & trying new restaurants, this seemed like the perfect fit for their session! Their sweet love & endless laughter brought a continuous smile to my face and resulted in one of my favorite engagement sessions to date. Kathryn & Kevin, I simply can’t wait for your Augusta Country Club wedding later this year!
