Molly & Kevin’s wedding day was the perfect way to close out 2015. Molly is a sweet friend from college (we were in the same sorority) who has now become my walking buddy in Augusta. She is in her final year of dental school (and even took boards the week of her wedding!!) and has a heart of gold. Kevin is the perfect match for her – they love to goof off together, but also care for each other in such a kind way. After 8 years together, they are like two peas in a pod! 

I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate the Advent season and the weekend before Christmas than celebrating your wedding day with all of your best friends and family! Led by Marie of Elizabeth Marie Weddings & Events, we began their day getting ready with the ladies in Christmas pajamas (and two of my favorites Becca Whittinghill on makeup & Mari Matthews on hair) at Molly’s childhood home. So many of my college friends were a part of this day, and they rocked at all things “bridesmaid.” They oohed and aahed at all the right moments, poured plenty of mimosas for Molly & even braved the December chill for some gorgeous photos together!

The stunning white backdrop of Dunwoody United Methodist Church was the perfect spot for Molly & Kevin’s first look & portraits, and how could we not pop over to the Christmas tree farm on the property for some wintery portraits! Molly curled up in Kevin’s jacket, and y’all, these two are so precious! I can’t handle it.

The sweet ceremony led to an absolutely rocking dance party at Ivy Hall at Roswell Mill – the same place where Kevin proposed last September! Molly certainly cut a rug with her sparkly Kate Spade Keds & Kevin had the audience crying from laughter while serenading his bride with “Ain’t to Proud to Beg” during the garter toss. Finally, their sendoff in “snow” was a magical way to end the night for these two!

Molly & Kevin, I am so honored that I got to be a part of your big day not only as a friend, but as the person documenting your wedding memories. I truly can’t imagine a more fun day for you two. Your easy-going demeanors & fun personalities made for a calm & wonderful day, and some serious fun! Here’s to a fabulous honeymoon in the British Virgin Islands, Christmas & life together!
