Jill & Kurt met years ago in the Lima, Peru airport at a Starbucks. Kurt saw Jill was studying from an accounting book (and therefore knew she spoke English) so he struck up a conversation. They chatted, did the obligatory Facebook “friending,” went their separate ways, and years passed before the other popped back into the picture. When Jill moved to Charlotte and discovered Kurt was living there, the two reconnected… and the rest is history. T

here are few things I love more than a story that shows perfect timing and story coming together! Hearing them share, and now seeing how attentive Kurt is toward Jill and how Jill just perfectly snuggles into his arms is such a special thing! When Jill reached out after their proposal, I immediately knew we would have such a great time together! Capturing their engagement session on Friday at Jill’s family’s property where she grew up riding horses was not only so fun, but absolutely stunning! She chose the most perfect Lulu’s dress and had her hair & makeup done by the fabulous Crystal of Cucumber & Mint, and Kurt was so handsome in his suit, and then they got a bit more comfy for some time by the pond… oh and did I mention there is a HORSE?! We even scored some amazing fall color! I couldn’t handle my excitement! I am so thrilled to share these images and can’t wait for their big day next year!
