There are some wedding days that you could just relive 10 times over. Madeline & Andrew’s effortless romance and playfulness made for a day that her Matron of Honor described as “straight from Madeline’s childhood dreams.” And truly, it did feel like a dream! The band introduced “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?” with this: “The words to this next song are ones you just can’t say enough.” Well, Madeline & Andrew, let’s just say I loved being a part of your day and experiencing the love you share with your closest family & friends!

An intimate affair, Madeline dreamed of a timeless, classic feel for the evening with true Southern hospitality. Not originally from Aiken, SC, these two who currently live in Pawley’s Island fell in love with the city when her parents moved to the area. With a stunning courtyard and Southern plantation ambiance, the Carriage House Inn (a new favorite venue!) was a quintessential setting for their spring soiree! Madeline & Andrew’s grace & joy throughout the day made us feel like we were part of their family. And with family of such importance to them, they incorporated little details into their day in honor of their nearest and dearest.

Madeline carried a stunning bouquet from Cote Designs with her late grandmother’s dragonfly pin gentle nestled in the florals, and her other grandmother handmade each of the boxes given as favors to the guests! Plus, Andrew is from Savannah, so Savannah Candy Company treats only seemed fitting for the evening!

They closed the evening dancing under the palms, magnolia and oaks hand-in-hand. Then, there was a final sweet moment toward the end of the evening while guests were enjoying their cake when Andrew led Madeline onto the dance floor and they swayed beneath the stars. Truly magical.
