Rustix Manor Woodstock, GA Wedding Photographer | Jordan & Ethan

Jordan & Ethan's wedding was something of a dream. Each step in their relationship has involved some kind of body of water and nature, so when the two began planning their big day, they knew it was necessary to continue the tradition for their wedding venue. When we met and I flew to Austin, TX for their engagement session at Laguna Gloria, I immediately fell in love with these two and how intentional they are! Today, I'm so honored to have this gorgeous wedding featured on Trendy Bride! Be sure to check it out and to see below for some of my favorite images!

From meeting at Myrtle Beach during a Leadership Project for a campus ministry, to a first date of a four-course meal and dancing under the stars on a friend's lake house dock, to a proposal on the dock in the pond where the swan scene of the Notebook was filmed, every gesture and element of Jordan & Ethan's relationship is perfectly thought out. Jordan & Ethan wanted to create a welcoming, joy-filled wedding day, and after viewing the property and meeting the team at the venue, they knew Rustix Manor in Woodstock, GA was the perfect location. With It Takes Two at the helm of planning, their nature-inspired summer wedding was amazingly designed from start to finish.

With a downpour in the morning, the sun began to shine and a glorious sky peeked out just in time for photos to begin! Held in the center of a lagoon, their ceremony complete with handwritten vows, reminded everyone that this celebration was about the marriage first and foremost. Guests enjoyed the day beneath blue skies & later the most epic of dance parties and a gorgeous reception held at the Rustix barn. From the welcoming lounge setting and custom built bars for their day by Crush Event Rentals, to the stunning linens, summery florals by Bloomin' Bouquets, and monogrammed plates for each place setting, every detail at the reception was a perfect addition to their summer affair! For a couple who loves adventure and grand gestures, Ethan planned to surprise Jordan with their honeymoon destination, and invited guests to guess where they were headed at the guest book table, which was full of bridal portraits from family members from multiple generations. And in case you're wondering... they went to Ireland - what a dream!!!

Finally, with a huge love of dancing, the couple kicked off the party and then Jordan & her dad surprised guests with a fully choreographed father-daughter dance featuring favorites like "Thriller" and "YMCA." To close out the night, guests were surprised with something special in honor of Jordan & Ethan's favorite holiday - 4th of July! Fireworks glittered reflected over the lake while Jordan & Ethan's tradition of special moments on docks continued! Like signage at their reception said: "It all started on a dock." And more than anything, the memories made on the dock for their wedding day are ones that will last for the couple, their family and friends for a lifetime! I'm still amazed at all of the thought and detail that they incorporated from their story to share with their guests!

Jordan & Ethan, you are two of the most genuine people I have ever met. Your ability to invest in others and pour your heart and soul into relationships is inspiring and will be such an asset in your marriage. Seeing the constant joy and smiles on your faces made your day just that much better! I can't wait to come visit you again in Austin, and am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for your marriage. I'm thinking there will be many more docks to come! Thank you!
