Today I am celebrating Labor Day alongside my husband while relishing in the celebration of Lauren & Jeff’s first day of marriage yesterday. These two share a sweet, sweet love and I got to experience the joy with their closest family and friends at their intimate wedding at Sacred Heart Cultural Center and Enterprise Mill Events and Catering. By the end of the day, I felt like one of the family, and that’s all thanks to the welcoming and easy-going spirits of Lauren & Jeff. Earlier in the week, we did a pre-wedding couple’s session with just the two of them, and I officially believe that every couple ever should do a couple’s session outside of their wedding day. I mean, all the portrait time – it’s basically my dream world!

Lauren got to test out her gorgeous gown from House of the Bride & hair & makeup look by Jen Lewis of the crazy talented Cucumber & Mint. After a postponed first session and then a rained out initial plan to head to coastal South Carolina to shoot at the Old Sheldon Church Ruins, we made the gametime decision to capture their love at the beautiful Redcliffe Plantation! And boy was it as gorgeous as ever! We explored the property together in anticipation of their big day and captured some of the most beautiful portraits of these two!
