Bridal portraits without fail are always some of my favorite sessions. After months of finding the perfect gown, choosing accessories perfect for your wedding day and finally trying on the whole ensemble for the first time, there is something so special about the moment when a bride realizes their day is finally near. Plus, it is the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with your closest ladies and to make any final tweaks to your bridal look. About halfway through the wedding planning process, Allison knew that she didn’t want to miss out on a single opportunity to get into her amazing Casablanca gown from Wedding Angels, so we did a little planning and decided to capture her bridal portrait session at the same club where she grew up visiting and where she’d dance the night away on her wedding day – Augusta Country Club!
As the session got closer, Allison & her mom mentioned how much they’d love a classically Southern bridal portrait on the stairs in their home. You know I can’t turn down a beautiful historic Summerville home and portraits in a spot that has been a part of their family for generations! I just envision the years of her father & then later Allison running up & down those stairs and spending time on the front porch. Such a sweet capture of the legacy of their family! I am so excited to finally get to share these gorgeous portraits and can’t wait to share more from her & Mike’s wedding day so soon!
