Couples like Jordan & Kyle make my heart so happy. The morning after celebrating a friend’s wedding, they woke up before the crack of dawn, totally game for a sunrise session – and it was well work it. Jordan shared with me that she totally is not a morning person, but I would never have known given how quickly she and Kyle rocked their session!

I love sunrise sessions for so many reasons, one being that we have full reign over areas like Piedmont Park, which usually is flooded with photographers, soccer games and community events. Not to mention, the weather is cooler, the light is pretty darn amazing and when you’re finished, you have every excuse to celebrate with a delicious brunch! Finally, this session was particularly sweet because their 1.5 year old chocolate lab pup, Darla, joined and totally stole the show – these three make the cutest little family! Kyle & I had met in college briefly, but getting to hear about their lives together and their wedding plans was so fun. I absolutely can’t wait for their Summerour Studio wedding with It Takes Two Events next summer! For now, I am so excited to share their engagement photos with you!
