After every wedding, I leave with sweet memories of the day, the couple and more. On the most gorgeous October day, with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s, Hannah & Josh’s celebration brought the biggest smile to my face. You see, this is the third wedding in a group of friends I have had the honor of shooting. Within this group, there is so much joy, energy, and just plain fun.
During the ceremony, the pastor explained how Hannah & Josh are like thermostats… they change environments for the better. They impress upon others something so special and it all points back to their faith in Jesus. These two have a way of bringing joy and warmth to everyone around them and lighting up the room with their smiles. (In fact, I commented about how beautiful Hannah’s smile was, and the bridesmaids promptly let me know she won that Senior Superlative! 😉 )
As of September, Josh & Hannah had been dating for 6 years – most of that being long distance, and with the farthest distance from Georgia to Romania! With such a long-awaited day, these two filled the air with such celebration, and I couldn’t be more honored to be a part of it! Josh & Hannah shared a special moment before the ceremony where they exchanged notes and the gift of a Bible with Hannah’s new name on it. Plus, the fall inspired color palette against the most stunning backdrop of Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club’s Legacy Lookout was actually swoon-worthy. I couldn’t stop exclaiming how beautiful everything was! From their stunning couples portraits during golden hour overlooking the entire Foxhall property to the most epic confetti exit, Hannah & Josh’s day was amazing! Led by the fabulous Paula Deiters of Meant to Bee Events, with reception decor by Atlanta’s Finest Catering, this evening was certainly one for the books! I am so beyond honored to capture their day and share it with you!
Hannah & Josh, Mr. & the Future Dr. Newton (woot woot!): you two are an inspiration to us all! Over 6 years and millions of miles, your love has flourished and thrived. I was so honored to capture your first day to forever in the most beautiful of setting while you honored Him with your vows. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day and for sharing in the joy and award-winning smiles with so many of us! So grateful for you!
And we couldn’t celebrate a wedding where two of my former couples were in the bridal party without snapping a couple photos of them, as well, during dinner! Shooting this group of friends’ weddings is always a blast! So fun to see Sarah & Matthew and Caroline & Davis!
