When you have the opportunity to see people walk through new seasons of life, it’s super special. It’s even MORE special when you have had the chance to capture each previous season… AND those people have become sweet friends as well. Haley and Daniel are that perfect example – from their Augusta, GA engagement session (featuring a then TINY Maddux pup) to their stunning Charleston wedding at the Governor Thomas Bennett House, and to many classes at the gym in between, I’ve loved following along and being a part of their story. Now, the greatest part of the story yet: a beautiful, bright-eyed baby girl: Sonnie Kate, at only 15 days new! She didn’t want to miss a moment of her time in the spotlight and spent most of the session wide awake without a single tear… despite our efforts to get her to catch a few Z’s. But I love that this session turned out exactly perfectly because we got to capture her curiosity & gorgeous grey eyes, and the love their little family shares. Plus, Maddux and Margot made their appearance too & gave us all a great laugh when the barking dogs are what finally caught her some snoozes! Apparently she’s already used to her loud furry siblings – a win for the Wick family! 😉 Haley has amazing style & the nursery is absolutely perfect for their darling little girl. Haley’s mom even surprised her with some of Haley’s dresses as a little girl that are on display, waiting for the day Sonnie Kate gets to wear them.
