5 stars!!! (wish I could give you a million!!!) Lauren Carnes is hands down the best in the business!! Since Lauren was my roommate in college, I already knew how amazing of a person she was, so for me it was really awesome to see her in action using her God given talent. She did our newborn photoshoot this summer and I could not be more pleased with these photos. They are absolutely incredible. I can't tell you how many compliments I have gotten. Not only is she a super talented photographer (professional, prepared, flexible, etc.), she was SUCH a great coach and mentor throughout the process for me as a new mama. She knew exactly what shots to take and how to make sure my newborn was comfortable (and warm!!) throughout the whole shoot. She even worked her magic to get some pics with our pup which made me so happy :) Not to mention she did teach me how to swaddle- thank goodness!! Lauren goes above and beyond and is SUCH a hard worker. Her turnaround time is unmatched. Seriously. I think it was like 24-48 hours later that we got our link. Lauren- thank you SO much for capturing these special moments!! You are amazing!!

My husband and I first met Lauren when she took our engagement and wedding photos. Since then, she has documented every major life event we have shared, including our maternity photos and most recently our daughter’s newborn photos. If I’m being honest, I was dreading our newborn session. Our baby was two weeks old. I was exhausted and didn’t feel like getting dressed, much less putting on make up and cleaning up the nursery for the shoot. I was stressed all morning, but as soon as Lauren arrived she put me completely at ease. She took care of everything, including arranging the nursery so it would look great for photos. She spent what felt like hours with the baby, soothing her to sleep, changing her outfits, and giving mama a much needed break! The finished product is more than I could have ever asked for. Once again, Lauren managed to perfectly capture our family, and most importantly our newest little addition. We absolutely love her and will cherish the photos forever.

Lauren shot our newborn photographs and the experience could not have been better! She was incredibly accommodating to our schedule and was a delight to visit with while she was photographing our family. She was so gentle with our newborn baby girl and created a very calm atmosphere. The photographs she took are absolutely beautiful and will be cherished for years to come. Lauren was also a wonderful resource for all things baby, which was so helpful and comforting to a new mama.

I cannot express how much gratitude my husband and I have for Lauren! She has photographed every life changing event in our lives so far. Started with engagement to our wedding and now onto to babies! The newborn shoot was probably the one I was most looking forward to and Lauren did not disappoint! I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable with anyone else just 2 weeks postpartum! She knew exactly how to make a new mom and dad feel at ease! The photos are more than perfect and I know we will cherish them forever just like our other engagement and wedding albums. We are so fortunate to have Lauren as the Wick family resident photographer and the sweetest friend!

Lauren was such a dream to work with, especially during those first crazy days with a newborn baby! I was stressed about how everything would turn out when my husband and I were basically zombies and I was still rocking my post-partum bod, but Lauren turned up with her sweet, joyful self, and I felt immediately at ease. She made sure to get shots of every single angle of our nursery while I got the baby ready, which meant so much to me after spending a ridiculous amount of time decorating that room! She was so sweet to take any breaks I needed to nurse or switch outfits. She got the BEST shots of us and our giant pup that I will treasure forever!!

Lauren captured the sweetest images of our family just being US. She simply joined us as we played in our house, and did such an incredible job of capturing every little detail. We forgot she was there as we blew bubbles and laughed; that’s the true sign of an amazing family photographer because nothing was overly staged and our daughter was comfortable the whole time! We will cherish the images forever! Truly a moment frozen in time.
