Summer is coming to a close, but not without one more taste of the truest Southern summer food out there: boiled peanuts. They are surprisingly easy to make in the crock pot, so often I’ll throw a pot on in the morning and by the afternoon I’ve got a perfect snack. I’ll sure miss them in the winter, but that just means that all things “pumpkin” are coming!
