There are times in life when you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Lord is looking out for you in ways you couldn’t have imagined. One day I walked into Wells Fargo feeling quite overwhelmed with the concept of entrepreneurial finances (can I get an “amen!” fellow small business owners out there?). I asked if I could sit down with a banker to open an account and mentioned I was a photographer. Immediately the teller’s eyes lit up saying she had just the person for me: Shawnté.

Although she was out at the moment, she knew Shawnté, a fellow photographer, would be able to serve me well. And that she did, folks. Not only did she become my designated go-to Wells Fargo girl, but she also became a friend and would check in on me outside of office hours to see how photography and life was going. Recently I got a call from her asking if we could meet up to take some headshots (and she even was willing to drive to Augusta to do so! Wow!). With a trip to Athens planned for the weekend, we enjoyed the incredible weather and roamed around Bottleworks to snap some great photos of this hilarious and beautiful lady. Here are a few of my favorites!
