From Jordan’s initial e-mail, I knew we’d be great friends. She had been referred by a series of people and couples I simply adore, including Abbey & Scott and Keri & Brandon. Then, when she mentioned they’d like to do their engagement session Washington Farms, a strawberry farm that Chip and I used to spend date days at, and with wine in a field I was sold. Not to mention, I always love getting to work with the Washington family after their son, Mark & dear Catherine’s wedding about a year ago! It really is a small world, isn’t it?

This may go down in the books as one of my favorite engagement sessions of all time. A Southern summer evening picking strawberries and drinking wine at sunset. Ok, yes. Plus, I can’t get enough of engagement sessions with meaning & fun to them! Jordan was gorgeously dolled up by Brushworx, and their style and the linens she picked for the picnic are amazing. It truly was a lucky evening, especially when quite a few ladybug friends came to join the picnic!

Jordan & Robert, I simply can’t wait for your Foundry at Puritan Mill wedding next year! A huge thank you to Washington Farms for graciously welcoming us onto their property!
