Capturing Sarah & Dan’s engagement photos was like taking a walk down memory lane with the best of friends – and what a beautiful, lush green walk it was! When I discovered that their first date was at the absolutely gorgeous Hopelands Gardens in Aiken, SC, I was so excited to shoot their session there and hear stories of their relationship, courtship and upcoming wedding. From “their bench” at the Gardens to driving to the first date in Dan’s car that is 1 of only 14 in the world, reminiscing on their love was beyond sweet!

Although they lived clear across the nation from one another, Sarah & Dan met while at a leadership conference in Washington DC in high school. Sarah attended college in Portland, OR & Dan in Columbia, SC, and after Dan popped the question on the West coast, they packed Sarah up and moved her to Orlando for her new job & lots of wedding planning! Now, I’m so honored to get to capture this next season in their life together and simply can’t wait for their Woodside Plantation Country Club wedding next year!
