I only just discovered the glory of fresh figs upon moving to Augusta last summer, but they have quickly grown to be one of my favorite fruits. They are luscious, sweet and seriously beautiful! There is nothing better than walking down the street to my neighbor’s house and plucking a ripe fig off her tree for a snack. Most of the trees here produce far more than their owners can use, so people offer them up to fig beggars like me! This summer we planted 2 trees and I’m just praying one day we’ll have big lovely fig trees for summer snacks. Plus, it makes me all warm & fuzzy inside thinking of leaving a summer surprise like that for future owners of our sweet home.

In honor of another summer coming to a close, this easy recipe by Nutrition Simply for Roasted Figs with Goat Cheese & Prosciutto is perfect for an appetizer, dessert or simply an afternoon on the porch. Plus, they can be ready in just minutes and are a big crowd pleaser! We’re so thrilled to have them featured today on Style Me Pretty Living! Head to the feature to find the recipe after indulging in these images!

Thank you again to Nutrition Simply for partnering on such a lovely shoot & to Style Me Pretty Living for sharing! Now if you need me, I’ll be dreaming figgy dreams!
