Right at the beginning of my wedding photography career, a couple I will forever appreciate, Catherine & Mark, invited me to share in their day celebrating at Catherine’s childhood home with their closest friends & family. I’ve always cherished that day and how they trusted me so early on with their wedding memories – and absolutely loved seeing how close she and her siblings were with their cousins. For a girl who grew up as one of the only Georgia kids in a family of Michiganders, it was super fun to witness!

One of those cousins was Jonathon – cue a year or so, and I receive the most gracious inquiry from Jordan, Jonathon’s fiance, and they are set to be wed at the same property next May! What a fun tradition for their family! I am beyond thrilled to get to be a part of another wedding at the Trammell house! And without much surprise, Jordan & Jonathon have quickly become sweet friends to me just like they rest of their family!

Due to so much rain & hurricanes this season in Charleston, SC, we’ve rescheduled their engagement session twice already, but third time’s a charm and this gorgeous evening was worth the wait! We began at the Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston and finished up on the beach where Jonathon proposed in Isle of Palms, all with their 10-month old Golden Retriever fur baby, Moose! These two are in Charleston while Jonathon is stationed there for the Air Force, and Jonathon will be deploying later this week. We were so grateful we were able to capture their sweet family and these memories for them before he would be serving into the new year! It’s so evident that the love they share is one that knows no bounds!

During this time, I invite you to join me in praying for Jonathon & Jordan and their families, and we can’t wait to welcome him home & celebrate their wedding next year with an amazing vendor team including Catherine Kelly Events, Vine & Brand Floral, Mac the Cheese and more! For now, I’m so excited to share some favorites from their engagement session! We had the most fun, and isn’t Moose just so darn handsome?!
