It’s always fun to meet referrals from friends & former brides and make connections over our mutual relationships. When Allison initially reached out and I discovered she was a friend of a Ansley‘s from college & the cousin of one of my family’s friends, I was so excited to get to know her more! Allison & Mike met in Charleston at a wedding reception on July 9, 2011 – now, the two will be tying the knot in Augusta on the same date 5 years later, and I can’t wait to be a part!

Allison & Mike are just the most fun, and when our initial plans got rained out, we opted for a new day – New Year’s Day to be exact! We began their session at Manuel’s BreadCafe toasting to the year of their wedding with glasses of bubbly. Then, we explored Hammond’s Ferry, which has a very “Charleston-style” feel to it, so it was perfect for where their relationship began! 

I absolutely loved talking all about plans, our favorite things about Augusta (and Athens!) and more. I’m so excited to share their engagement photos and for their wedding day this summer! Cheers to the most amazing year to come, Allison & Mike!
