Today we’re finishing up a three day food tour of Frog Hollow Hospitality Group’s amazing restaurants in downtown Augusta. This week has been a whirlwind of visitors to the city for Masters, and people enjoying the local restaurants our city has to offer! When we first moved to Augusta, we were determined to quickly find our “date night” restaurants and daily go-to’s. For us, our favorite way to reconnect and wind-down after a long day or week is over a delicious meal. Everyone raved about Frog Hollow Tavern from the start, and boy they were right!
It’s become one of our go-to restaurants for a night together or when friends and family come to town! Our first thing we ever tried was the Braised Berkshire Pork Shoulder with smoked gouda mac & cheese and port wine & vinegar braised collards, and we still say it’s one of our favorite meals we’ve eaten. The best part about Frog Hollow & all of its sister restaurants is Chef Sean Wight’s emphasis on locally grown & raised ingredients. The quality and flavors speak for themselves, and the service is amazing to boot. You can learn more about the farms where Frog Hollow sources its products here. I’m so honored to have captured images for Chef Sean Wight’s restaurants and can’t wait for a second Farmhaus Burger to open soon! Hope you enjoyed visiting these restaurants through your screen, and that you’ll have the chance to visit them in person! Cheers!
