Nearly two years ago I moved to Augusta knowing very few people and decided to launch LCP in the same week as we bought our house and started life in a new city. Very quickly thereafter someone told Becky, who had also just recently moved to Augusta from New Zealand, that she needed to meet me. We were both new to the city, new to running our own photography businesses, and looking for friendship & a support system. Becky & I quickly became a dear friends as she second shot weddings throughout the year with me, and we collaborated on styled shoots, explored our new city and grew in amazing ways together. I have had the privilege of walking alongside her in the majority of our businesses, and with that have grown to know and love her husband, pup, and sweet family close by.

When Becky of Casto Photo asked me to join as a second shooter for her sister’s wedding, I was beyond honored. Let’s just say many a tear was shed on my end watching this sweet family in celebration of Sarah & Branden at the Engine Room in Monroe, Georgia this past January. As a destination wedding for the couple, friends and family traveled from all over to celebrate at this stunning wedding that was designed perfectly by the ever-talented Cote Designs. From the amazing florals, a gorgeous color palette of blues & pinks, and the surprise performance of one of my favorite a cappella groups, UGA Noteworthy, this day was a perfect way to celebrate one of my best friend’s sister’s weddings! I am so honored to be a part and thrilled to share a few of my favorite images from the day.
