Today closes out the trilogy of Italy photos from our trip. Earlier this week I shared about our time in the Amalfi Coast and last week about Rome and Pompeii. Finally, I bring you Tuscany – land of rolling hills, vineyards, amazing food and precious towns ideal for exploring. I’m simply dreaming of going back right now! In the mean time, hope you enjoy Tuscany through my lens!

On our first night in Tuscany, we finally fully understood the phrase “under the Tuscan sun.” The sunset at Villa di Piazzano wow’ed us without a doubt.

I've always heard incredible things about Florence, but it truly was the perfect mix of city and small town. I’ve always heard incredible things about Florence, but it truly was the perfect mix of city and small town.

Chip truly was the best tour guide. Paired with our Rick Steves' Italy book, he led us through the country! Chip truly was the best tour guide. You can find the entrance in the center of the leather market. Inside is foodie heaven and a perfect place to relax and grab a bite to eat or a drink. Before visiting the winery one day, we stopped by the outdoor market in Montepulciano. The colors, smells and sights were amazing! Before visiting the winery one day, we stopped by the outdoor market in Montepulciano. The colors, smells and sights were amazing!

After the market, we spent the afternoon at Avignonesi, an incredible organic vineyard. A day of tours, tasting and lunch with views like this was hard to beat. So thankful to spend this trip with my love. So thankful to spend this trip with my love.

This dessert was an assortment of “sweet and salty” items to pair with the 15-year aged Vin Santo crafted by the winery. Divine, I tell you.

On one of our very last days in Italy, we visited the town of Siena, where horse racing is king and people sprawl out on the Piazza like it's a beach. At the end of our trip, we definitely needed a nap. So when in Siena, do as Sienans do and rest in the Piazza. It's only fitting that this is the final photo in my Italy series! Well, with that, we come to a close on the Italy “tour!” I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have. There is nothing better than getting to experience an incredible trip a second time through photos. I highly recommend a trip like this! If any of you are planning one, let me know if you have any questions or need recommendations. I’d love to share! Here’s to hoping I get to return one day! Until then, I’ll just reminisce with these photos! Thanks for joining. Ciao!
