When you move to a new city, life can be a bit overwhelming – especially when you’re looking to buy a house in said new city. Enter, Adelle Dennis of REX Property & Land. Adelle so graciously helped us find the home of our dreams in Augusta and made the process as easy as can be for a first-time home buyer. But not only that, she made us feel welcomed in the town she had called home for so long. During our process, she spoke of her children, took us by her stunning historic Summerville home and brought us to some of her favorite local restaurants. I always loved hearing of her love for her kids and their experiences here in town.

Fast forward to a phone call from Adelle one day when I discovered her daughter, Aubrey, would be getting married on the lawn of their gorgeous home and they would love me to capture it! Needless to say I was thrilled and honored to serve their family in a special way after Adelle had done so much for us! After meeting Aubrey, she is everything & more that I expected – good humored, fun and with great taste! After her & Daniel’s Moscow Mule cocktail crafting engagement session, she endured post summer storm Augusta humidity for her bridal portrait session at her childhood home – the same place she’d say “I do” only a month later – and I’m so glad she did, because the clouds created some lovely diffused light for her session. Her Modern Trousseau gown with lace detailing is so gorgeous! I’m so excited to share these gorgeous bridal portraits and can’t wait to share their wedding photos from this past Saturday! The wedding day was a dream alongside such talented vendors including Charleston Street, Tastefully Yours, and more! And I just love the final shot here of Adelle helping Aubrey put on her “something borrowed” earrings – Adelle’s earrings from a trip to Europe years ago!
