I always know I’m going to love a wedding day when the couple is a referral from other sweet couples & friends of mine. When Jordan reached out and led with, “Abbey & Scott sent me!” I was immediately excited to get to chat with her, and quickly I knew we would get along quite well. Jordan & Robert met at Mercer Law, where they knew Abbey from their days of hours in the library looking up case after case! After an initial postponement of their first date due to some serious studying, they enjoyed a dinner and as they say: “the rest is history!”

She and Robert have the sweetest love, and their friends and family made the day even more special! What initially was anticipated to be a very rainy day ended up with not a single drop, and we couldn’t be more grateful, because I just can’t even get over the beauty of this wedding at the amazing Foundry at Puritan Mill – this space is a dream in Atlanta! Spacious, full of gorgeous light and a perfect mix of industrial elegance! With Amberly of Wrennwood Design at the helm for planning & coordinating, and Bloomin’ Bouquets crafting up the most amazing florals and installations, I knew from the start this would be a day to remember.

Then add Jordan’s timeless beauty as a bride and Robert’s easy-going personality with beautiful backdrops for photos, and this photographer’s heart is happy! I mean, I am still gushing over the white sheers where Jordan got ready for her day with her bridesmaids and looked as stunning as can be! Plus, their faith-filled ceremony truly reminded us of the reason for marriage & the incredible reception with amazing food from endive catering and treats galore at the cake table closed the night on a high note! What a beautiful start to life together! Plus, I’m so honored to have this wedding featured on Carats & Cake!

Jordan & Robert, any couple who strolls through rows of strawberry fields and drinks wine at a picnic for their engagement session is good in my book, and your wedding day was just reinforcement of how much I love the two of you! Your joy in life is so apparent, and I am so honored to have been a part of your wedding day. Seeing you two enjoy such a special day after hard work with school & planning was perfect! Wishing you endless adventures & so many blessings together!
