Every once in a while I come across couples who keep me laughing the whole time we’re together. Stephanie & Wes are that couple, and a perfect match for each other! Wes cracks the jokes, Stephanie giggles. The two live in a small town near Athens, GA and love the slower way of life there (with their pups – and a black lab, Daisy!)! I knew that I’d be excited to meet them when Stephanie voluntarily drove 2 hours to meet with me in person for our initial meeting! That’s some serious dedication and does not go unappreciated by this photographer here. Not to mention they are celebrating their big day at one of my favorite venues, The Engine Room in Monroe, GA!

When the day of their engagement session came, we were so thrilled to find the most perfectly mild May evening full of sunshine and dappled clouds. We met up at Hurricane Shoals Park in Maysville, GA where there is the most perfect little river area. Wes proposed on the rocks along the shoreline in Newport, Rhode Island, so this spot couldn’t have been more perfect for their session!
