As a photographer I get to meet such a range of people throughout the Southeast and world, and one thing I always love to find is how everyone is a little bit connected in some way or another. It’s one of my favorite things to discover the friends and interests we have in common. As Law Dawgs from my alma mater, UGA, Sarah & Sam and I have a love of Athens in common and many mutual friends including my former bride, Kelsie! Plus, these two are good friends with one of my husband’s co-residents at the hospital! When Sarah & I first met and began brainstorming venue locations, I knew from the start that I loved her style for a classically Southern wedding with a bit of flair!

When we got to meet up for their engagement session last week, the South in the fall was certainly showing off with the most gorgeous light and weather for these two. We began at the historic Augusta University Summerville campus and finished out on the greens where Sam plays golf every week at Forest Hills Golf Club. They absolutely rocked their session and quickly fell right into poses and engaging together with ease! I couldn’t get enough of Sarah’s sweet laugh (or the fact that she looks identical to one of my best friends, Britt Croft!) I am so excited to share their session here and for their big day next year at Sarah’s home church in Covington and The Mill at Yellow River! Going to be amazing!
