This amazing day brings the biggest smile to my face. Kathryn & Kevin are two of the most genuine, welcoming and joyful people I’ve ever met. From our first encounter, to their engagement photos, to Kathryn’s bridal session, to the last moment of their wedding weekend (and beyond), their wedding planning experience was full of excitement and kindness. Working alongside their family, friends and killer vendor team was such fun – and this day was stunning! So stunning, in fact that Glamour Magazine shared the beauty online!
These two met & fell in love in Washington DC and decided to celebrate their big day in Kathryn’s hometown of Augusta, GA. With a weekend full of classically elegant Southern details, guests from all over the nation had a taste of Augusta charm, complete with sweet details like Masters playing cards & Georgia peach cookies & peanuts, the natural beauty of the South with lush, organic florals and design crafted by Cote Designs, and Southern hospitality galore!
The day begin with getting ready at Kathryn’s childhood home & the boys at the historic Partridge Inn. After spending the prior evening with their crew at the rehearsal dinner at The Pinnacle Club, I felt like I was joining old friends for the wedding day! The ceremony was held at Trinity on the Hill, where Kathryn grew up in choir and attending church, and we finished the day at the gorgeous Augusta Country Club. In planning, Kathryn recounted fond memories of playing tennis and enjoying time with friends and family at the ACC, so it only seemed natural to add one more special memory there: their wedding reception full of family & friends from all across the nation! And boy, was it a dance party if I’ve ever seen one! Such a blast! I’m so thrilled to share images from this classically Southern wedding day for a beautiful couple inside & out!
Kathryn & Kevin, words can’t express how grateful I am to have been a part of this season of life for you two. Your joy, encouragement and Christ-centeredness is something I am so honored to have witnessed.
